How to Create a Pet Profile + Order Your Plush ItemUpdated 5 months ago
We will use our Original Plush Cuddle Clone as an example for this tutorial but the process is very similar for our other two plush products, the Golf Club Headcover, and the Slippers.
Step 1
Click on “Get Started” on the product's page:
Step 2
You get to see a pop-up to add your pet:
Step 3
Click “Add Pet”. You can fill in your pet’s name and select the ‘Species’. This can be a Dog, Cat, Horse, or Other (any other animal).
Step 4
After selecting the ‘Species’, you can select the ‘Breed’
If you choose “Other/Mixed”, you will also get the option to fill in the breed details.
Choose the breed of your furry friend and click ‘Next Step’.
Step 5
You will enter the screen where you will be able to upload photos of your pet.
Only the ‘Face’ photo is required, but we advise you to upload as many photos as you have so the artist can create a great likeness of your furry friend.

Step 6
After uploading the photos of your furry friend, you can select the the eye color.
We do have the option to create two different eye colors, simply click the checkbox ‘My pet has two different eye colors”. If your pet is missing one eye, please also click the checkbox and choose the missing eye option: “Missing”.
Step 7
You can now select the ear position. The ear position is only available for dogs, for other pets the ear position will be recreated from the photos you have uploaded. You can also leave a comment and photo in the special characteristics if you have a certain ear position in mind.
Step 8
You can also add special characteristics of your pet.
You have the option to add up to three distinguishing characteristics and add a photo as a reference for each of them.
A special characteristic could be a certain pattern or marking, a missing limb, fluffy tail, floppy ears, underbite, etcetera.
Step 9
Please select the age of your pet. If your beloved pet, unfortunately, has passed away, you can select “Pet has passed away”. Then, click on "Next" to proceed to the next page.
Step 10
On the next page, you can select the mouth* position, body** position, and tail* position for your pet. The body and tail position is only available for Cuddle Clones, not the Golf Club Headcover, or Slippers.
*The mouth and tail position is only available for dogs, for other pets the mouth and tail position will be recreated from the photos you have uploaded. You can also leave a comment and photo in the special characteristics if you have a certain position for the mouth or tail in mind.
**For small species like rabbits, hamsters, birds, etc, the body position is also not selectable. The artist will create the body position based on the photos. If you have a certain body position in mind, you can leave a comment and photo in the special characteristics section about the body.
Step 11
You can also select if you would like to add a Zipper Pouch or a Custom Bandana. A Zipper Pouch is 5 - 7 inches long and 3 - 4 inches deep and it is located on the lower belly. The size also depends on the size of the Cuddle Clone. The Zipper Pouch and Custom Bandana are only available for Cuddle Clones, not the Golf Club Headcover, or Slippers. For headcovers, you have the option to add Golf Tees.
You can also leave a note for our artists to see. When you're done, click on "Next" to proceed.
Step 12
On this next page, you will see an overview of your selected plush item. If you would like to change or add something, you can press “Previous” in the lower-left corner to make changes to your plush item. If the overview is correct, you can press “Add to your Cart” and the plush item will be added to your cart.
Step 13
Your Cart. Congratulations! Your plush item has been added to your cart. If you would like to remove an item from your cart, you can press the cross on the right side after the price of the item. The item will be removed from your cart.
Here, you also have the option to add a rush. If you choose our standard delivery time, only the delivery fee will be charged. You will receive your plush item in eight weeks. The delivery fee will be calculated at checkout.
If you would like to receive your plush item faster, you have the option to select a rush for your order. If you add rush to your order, your plush item will be put in front of the queue so the artist will start sooner on yours. The rush does not include the shipping fee.
If everything looks correct, you can click on "Proceed to checkout".
Step 14
At checkout, you can fill in your personal details like contact information, shipping address and phone number.
On the right side of the screen, you will see an overview of your ordered item(s) and the total price.
If you have a discount code or gift card, you can enter the code here as well. If a discount code is already applied, the highest discount code will be activated. It is not possible to stack discount codes.
If all the details are filled in, you can press “Continue to Shipping”
Step 15
On this next page, the shipping fee will be calculated. It will be calculated automatically based on the items you are ordering and the address the items will be shipped to.
If the details are correct and you are ready to place your order, you can press “Continue to Payment”.
Step 16
You will see the payment options. You can select multiple payment methods. Shop Pay, our after-pay service is only available for US-based customers.
Step 17
Below the payment options, you can select if the billing and shipping addresses are the same. If not, you can select “Use a different billing address” and you can enter the billing address here. If you would like to change the shipping address, you can scroll up and press “Change” next to your shipping address.
If you have selected the payment method, you can press “Pay Now” to place your order.
Once successfully ordered, you will see a page with your order number and you will receive an email with the order confirmation as well.
